Wrapped Soda Cans

My husband and I have been looking at beach houses to rent for a week sometime this summer. So with my head in the clouds dreaming of beach houses I created this Under the Sea theme party line. I tried something new with this one...wrapped soda cans...and I think I love it! I have been on a glass soda bottle kick because they look so fun on tablescapes, but let's face it, they are expensive, can be hard to find and not really practical for kids to be running around with glass bottles. I had canned soda on hand today when I was designing and gave it a try.

What do you think?

Here is the whole set available in my shop.
I think it would be great in pink, orange and yellow for girls too!

Nurse Pinning Printables {custom designed}

Amy from Sugar Chic contacted me to design a printable that she could use for a nurse pinning ceremony in their colors, burgandy and gold. I was so excited to get her pictures and see how she used all of the printables. She did a FABULOUS job and I love how she creatively used the printables for different things!! She used the straw flags also for cupcake flags, she used water bottle labels {punched out} on rosettes for candy jars, bottle labels on the pill bottles, mini signs, popcorn boxes and stemware flags. Thanks for sharing Amy!

I can't wait to see her next event  that I worked with her on for a custom designed high fashion "Alice inspired" printable. I am sure she will WOW me with her use of the printables! Stay tuned for that one!

Sunshine Day

Or at least I am wishing for a sunshine day! Here in Chicagoland it has been gray, cold and rainy! So I am in the mood for sunshine!!

Let's talk yellow! Shall we? I am especially loving Yellow with Aqua right now!

Have you done a yellow party? I'd love to hear your ideas too!

Here are some things I have been working on....

{mod}Yellow and Aqua Party Invite

and mactching note card

And a sunny Lemonade inspired Party...all about yellow...with a touch of gray

Lemonade labeled mason jars with yellow custom straw flags add a personal touch and helps pull the color scheme together

Custom cake topper adds a nice homespun look to your dessert table and keeps with the theme

An added POP of aqua with a picture frame is an easy idea and fresh lemons are a great table decoration!

And don't forget the color coordinated sweets too!

Here's to hoping that I wake up to sunshine tomorrow....or better yet....on Sunday for my daughter's birthday party! Can't wait to share that one!
