Backyard Camp Party
My oldest son turned nine this month and we celebrated by inviting friends and family to CAMP TYLER. We had a nice backyard camping party complete with a bonfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The kids had so much fun competing against each other in the nature hunt and playing flashlight tag! I genuinely enjoyed every bit of this party and all of the old fashioned fun!
All of the wonderful memories and details have been captured by Maggie Russo Photo and the Delicious Texas Chocolate Cake and Smores Brownie Pops were by Little Miss Sweet Tooth. A HUGE thanks to them!
You can find this entire printable party set in my shop www.homespunhostess.com

I love everything about this party... every detail! Must convince my kids to have a camping-themed party!
ReplyDeletelove this! Where did you find that vintage thermo jug in the 2nd photo?
ReplyDeletethat was a lucky flea market find!
DeleteThank you so much for posting this. My son is turning 8 in a few weeks and I am desperate for something that doesn't involve a bounce house, Chuck E Cheese, or taking everyone to a baseball game (again). Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteHoping this isn't too dumb of a question... Was this party an actual camping sleepover in a tent or was it just a regular party for a few hours that happened to be camping themed? All your theming looks awesome, by the way!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this is a dumb question, but... Was this an actual camping sleepover in a tent or was it a regular party for a few hours that just happened to be camping themed? Love your theming and decorations, btw!
ReplyDeletewe did not sleep in tents, the party lasted until about 11 pm with friends in the backyard playing flashlight tag. :-)
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get those cool moss baskets?
ReplyDeletethis party was three years ago, so not sure they are still available, but I got them at Joann's.
