Oink! Baa! Moo! Sofia is TWO!

Last September I helped a friend with her daughter's barn animal party. She came in from out of town and set up this sweet party at a local apple orchard with a great red barn, a petting zoo and a perfect grouping of picnic tables where we were able to set up this party! This talented mama, Anna Patrizi, went all out and made the cutest little animal cake pops and apple pies in mason jars! The party was adorable and I had to share the photos!

 Look at these adorable cake pops! This was Anna's first try! Now that is talent!! They totally made the desert table! Check out Bakerella's cake pop book for tips on making your own animal cake pops.
 This place is known for the fabulous Apple Cider and Pumpkin Donuts so those HAD to be on the dessert table......you just can't go to County Line Orchard and not eat the donuts!

 Taffy Apples in cupcake liners were another great touch on the dessert table!

Anna made these rustic apple pies in mini mason jars too! How cute are they?
 The kids table was covered in burlap and each place setting had a little boxed lunch packed for each kid in red barn boxes with my custom labels. The kids loved it seeing this table when they arrived at the party!

My sweet little Annabelle was a very happy guest at this party, especially eating the little piggy cookies made by her Auntie Cil!

 I missed photo opps with the adult food table, but it was set out casually on a picnic table with a large bushel of wrapped sub sandwiches, a bushel of glass hinged milk bottles with chocolate milk, bowls of salads with wooden spoons adorned with red gingham ribbon and homemade banana bread (made by Anna, of course). Here is a peek at the bread!
 One of the cute animals in the petting zoo waiting for food!

 We filled little burlap sacs with animal feed for the kids to enjoy in the petting zoo with cut little custom tags. This was also a way to stretch the budget by splitting up the feed that the petting zoo sells into 3 sacs per bag purchased. (I always like to stretch my party budget any way I can!!)
 And here is little Sofia, the Birthday Girl at her 2nd Birthday Barnyard Bash! How cute is she???

Thank you Anna for letting me share in this celebration with you! I enjoyed every minute of this!

Dolls have parties too!

Happy January! I have been busy creating new sets of party themes for my ETSY shop along with lots of custom requests. I have been working around the clock and my sweet little "assistant" Annabelle has been soaking up every little detail! Today she asked me if  I could "print a party" for her dollhouse! She told me she wanted purple and pink butterfly to be the theme and even made me a little "printable" wish list that included a banner, placemats and birthday signs. I also added a little party hat for the birthday girl.

I thought other moms might enjoy this project with your little girls too. Upload your free dollhouse butterfly party free here!

Here is my party stylist in training:

All Set up!

And of course the birthday girl needs a little party hat!

Enjoy! These little moments go by too fast!

Apple Pickin'

Today I had the pleasure of going on a fun play date at an apple orchard with my preschooler and her pal. The two of them are very good sports so I brought along my new printables to capture under the apple trees. These printables would be great for any fall occasion....I love to send invites for everything so naturally I will be sending these to family as a reminder of our annual trip to the apple orchard.

You can find the invites and everything to match in my shop now.

How cute are these girls?!

CAMP TYLER {Celebrating 9 years}

My oldest son turned nine this month and we celebrated by inviting friends and family to CAMP TYLER. We had a nice backyard camping party complete with a bonfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The kids had so much fun competing against each other in the nature hunt and playing flashlight tag! I genuinely enjoyed every bit of this party and all of the old fashioned fun!

All of the wonderful memories and details have been captured by Maggie Russo Photo and the Delicious Texas Chocolate Cake and Smores Brownie Pops were by Little Miss Sweet Tooth. A HUGE thanks to them!

Annabelle's {Vintage Strawberry Farm} 3rd Birthday

As we say good bye to summer here is a little bit of berry cuteness on a sunny day in May!

Way back in early February my sweet little Annabelle got a new Strawberry tutu from Gymboree and as soon as she got it she told me she wanted to have a strawberry party so she could wear it for the party.....and so the planning for her May 23rd birthday began! I knew in my head I wanted the style to be vintage strawberry, homespun and farm chic all wrapped into one! I used red gingham, fun polka dots and accented with a bit of retro aqua. The dessert table was filled with goodies that my very talented sister {little miss sweet tooth} made....gorgeous strawberry ruffle cake, strawberry cake pops, strawberry cookies, truffles and strawberry french macarons! The food table had more of a "farm chic" rustic look with vintage popcorn bags, wrapped sandwiches tied with yarn and custom tags, mini homemade strawberry pies, individual strawberry spinach and dill potato salads and red lunch bags of chips. I love the pop of aqua against the red...it adds that little bit of retro charm that I love.

{the SWEET birthday girl}
 We have a big long picnic table that was perfectly set with red geraniums in red polka dot pots and mason jar cupcakes at each place setting with wooden stamped forks and vintage strawberry tags with each child's name.
 Strawberry milk with classic paper straws in glass bottles went perfect with the gorgeous cake my sister made! {find the straws in my ETSY shop}
 I used mini chalk boards as food labels to add a little bit of homespun charm.

 We served fried chicken from a picnic basket lined with red gingham fabric. The pinwheels from {paper polaroid on ETSY} were the perfect thing to top the tiers of salad cups.
 Fresh strawberry jam with custom labels were sent home with all of the guests.

I made red and white flower hair clips for all of the little girls and redesigned my Anna Bananna packaging  (my other little company) just for this party {a Berry Special Edition}

I hope you enjoyed this last bit of summer as we head into fall! Next up....I will share the details of Tyler's rustic camping party! Stay tuned!
